I am currently utilizing the guide found at rentry to work with custom JavaScript scripts for the AI chat: https://perchance.org/ai-character-chat.

I just discovered this on perchance. It's really good so far, but I noticed some details aren't picked up on by the AI? For example, I describe a royal vampire and how it should wear royal attire. The AI handles that easily. Same for royal werewolves, but then I try that with royal bears and the AI just will not dress the character up in anything even remotely royal looking. Opting to dress it in green forest ranger garb lol. I've specified the details, and used these also ( ) but it just won't change it. Am I doing something wrong?

I created a chat and invited some characters - over time the chat and memories have become very confused - is it possible to remove the added characters or actually edit what they remember?

I wrote a function to act like the brain button for ai-character chat. I haven't tested it too extensively (or much at all), and it's mainly copy-pasted from the brain button.

There are three areas of BP I know of that I can't match with the rest so, in teh spirit of completeness am asking.

Several months ago I said new image generation quality would be coming soon. Then flux came out and I was like "oh cool, i'll just wait a month or so for community finetunes", and once again informed people that an image gen upgrade was not far off. But it turns out flux is really hard to finetune in its current form.

How do you get two contrasting characters (e.g. fat and skinny people) in an image?

For some reason, I've recently been having an issue with the AI character chat generator. Randomly while using the chats, the AI will give an error, which when refreshing the page after getting, the browser resets and returns to the default settings (no character chat, Chloe is the only chat, all settings are reset to default, etc.) I have checked my settings and my device for all possible reasons as to why it may be resetting, but I don't find any results. I fail to believe that my device or browser would be clearing cookies randomly, since I don't have anything set to do that. I haven't found any other post with the same issue, so I am unsure if the issue is only occurring for me. Is the AI or the site having issues with my browser, is my verification a possible issue, is it a network issue, or am I actually at fault with a setting I'm unaware of?

So, I want the make generator to remember user inputs and the latest generated output using the remember plugin, it works on user input but not for the output. I know there's a solution for this since generators like AI Chat can remember the chat logs without problem but I'm too dumb to understand the code lol

Quite, quite odd. They work fine when used within the page. Just not when imported to another page. Quite frustrating to try to work around, and then find that even the fixes don't work when actually imported elsewhere.

So, I'm not really sure why this happens, though I've been digging around trying to figure it out.

It should be untouched text. Only in JS does \t etc. are escaped. So \t becomes a tab character instead of just the text \t.

I was getting frustrated with my custom ai because it wouldn't ever format images in landscape where other custom bots do. However, when I tried it myself, I couldn't generate anything but portrait oriented images in that specific chat either.

Can there be a way to upload Loras and Models so that we can use them for ai image generation? (Image Generators like this: https://perchance.org/ai-text-to-image-generator)

I noticed something odd on Perchance recently regarding how generators appear in the "Recently Updated" list. Specifically, our generator, *ai-furry-generator*, seems to be missing from the page even though it should be there. I confirmed its existence by using Ctrl+F and searching the HTML for // Manual block list, but our generator isn’t in the blocklist.

I typed a 3 paragraph comment to someone tonight and it would not post cuz "bad word detected". I scanned it and it had no bad words. In order to say my comment I had to split it and try smaller chunks of words until one didn't go thru. Eventually I found the offensive word was "Bigger" and was able to delete it and send the rest of my comment thru.

Since the recent update when I have a good bit of text, when I load another ai chat story, it takes forever and sometimes freezes and crashes. Deleting the body text chat seems to fix it. Any way to fix this without having to delete the body text?

So I had a terrific first RP session today, and I read the warning about how it's all stored locally and may be lost if I clear my cache. No worries, there's an export option to export the entire scenario or just the character data or just the chats. I exported first the whole enchilada and then just the current chat thread and gunzipped the json data... and here my troubles begin.

Each day I visit, such as AI chat, I find out I'm logged out again and have to log in each time. Seems to happen on all mobile android browsers. Any way round this?

Hello everyone. New to the community as well as learning html for it. I was building an image generator purely from html css and js.

How can I make the generator go on with the story without having to press "next paragraph" the whole time?

A button in the top toolbar that adds the generator to your "favourites" list. List is shown in a dropdown, or as icons in the topbar, or on a particular page, etc.

I'm helping my friend make a turn-based battle game called Emoji Battles, and I'm attempting to make several things within the Perchance editor. I'm hoping for the simplest ways to implement these features into the sheet without too much hassle. I'm learning how to use more advanced features here, but I am not nearly experienced enough to implement these myself. If this is too much to ask, please let me know.

I've received a few messages from experienced developers asking how they might be able to help improve Perchance. I typed out a decently long (but somewhat rambling and incomplete) response to a message just now and figured I might as well post it publicly for the benefit of others who are interested.

Hello! , iam a user of perchance and have several generators on here, however due to certain restrictions i have to use a VPN to access the site, recently my VPN has stopped working and i get a message that my VPN was blocked , i was wondering if anyone has any solutions to my problem feel free to put em in the comments because if this doesnt get fixed i will be forced to quit.

1- i have to click on edit button to see list of item i can import from someone else generator, i wish there a button to at least see a quick review, auto documentation what he is exporting

If the mods password is set. Editing place holder text in any rooms will results in that particular room cannot scroll back to previous history. That button will disappear. It might be resolved spontaneously by time, or changing the mods password, or reverse the placeholder text.

I've always wanted to add a Ai Image Model from Civitai. I'm wondering when the option will be added in a later update. I'm sure others would enjoy this feature.

Hi anyone from the mods here perchance unblocked from the site? . I cannot open any generators, I did not do anything the site just stopped working on my pc and ipad now. i,m on a mesh network maybe that was the cause?

Haven't posted anything on the community for a while. Just popped this question on mind several days ago whilst considering to upload wallpapers from my generator hub page into the upload page to avoid something like this.

Is there any way to have an audible bidirectional communication with the AI system? Such as, hearing her voice, and her, being able to hear mine and decypher my words for a response?

so I am using perchance character ai chat with chrome, and when I have my character generate an image I can hit the ‘keep’ button at the bottom of the image to save it. This worked fine initially, but now I find that when I hit keep and close my browser I lose the image. When I open the browser back up it just generates a new image. It still keeps most of my older images, and a few of the newer ones, but for the most part it regenerates after I close and reopen. Any clue why? I have tried exporting and then importing, but this doesn’t seem to help.

Perchance/ai-character-chat won't export my data and the page crashes with an error. I'll give details when a dev responds.

Howdy! Keeping it short and sweet, I need help. Nothing on this website works. Well, nothing AI, at least. Chatbots and image generations just do not work. It could be my internet, but, I do not know for sure. Any thoughts? Help would be greatly appreciated! :)
