This is the conference Bird was headlining in Shame’s hometown in March but it’s been cancelled. The organizer says she can’t say why it’s cancelled due to signed contracts. It sounds like the keynote pulled the plug and left her high and dry.

I cannot believe these wannabe celebrity influencers are that tone deaf! First to boast about yet another photo shoot, and show us her sitting in the glam chair yet again 🙄 (tell me this is not a gloating face) and then the next slide promotes a podcast episode talking about about mental health?! Are you actually serious right now? You basically get everything in life gifted to you, including a major home renovation when most Canadians can barely afford groceries. Your husband brings you coffee in bed every day (that you’re actually home). You hardly parent your children and the one you do have full custody of literally has NOWHERE TO BE (school, daycare, activities) WHAT STRESS CAN YOU POSSIBLY HAVE IN YOUR LIFE?! You don’t work, instead you get flown across the globe on gifted trips. You have no real life responsibility because you have a team of people who do everything for you! Unbelievable that people actually feed into this fake garbage!

My heart actually breaks for this little girl who is trapped in a bubble, never allowed to free play with other children, pulled from daycare and only sees her mom part time. How sad and disgusting to shove this down her throat! Hi L, look at me with all your favourite characters 💔 this woman is positively insufferable.

I'm curious about everyone's thoughts on this. Do we think it will affect Canadian influencers? Maybe not yet, but I'd like to believe it's only a matter of time before a similar law finds its way up north.. and oh man, that day will be DELICIOUS.
