Feddit.onlineNvidia says it's sold twice as many RTX 50-series cards as RTX 40-series in the first 5 weeks. I'd bloody well hope so given there was competition.

TLDR: the first five weeks of 4000 series didn’t have 4080 yet and that’s what they are comparing it to.
It's actually a lie on the part of Nvidia. One of those corporate "it's not technically a lie", but there is still a clear premeditated intention to deceive stemming from malicious intent.
