Supermarket window has 3 words, separated by 3 pieces of paper. The papers reading "We" and "Open" are on the same level. Between them, higher up, is "Are". How to read is ambiguous. It can be "We are open" or "Are We Open". The caption is Shrodenger's Supermarket

So if I try to walk in, will I walk in and also simultaneously collide with the locked door?

How do you get 3 typos in the name when it's actually shown on the image?

Engagement bait. People love pointing out mistakes

Why would engagement matter?

For exactly the same reason we enjoy seeing the useless number next to our comments and posts.

People enjoy engagement; it doesn't necessarily have to have any deeper motivation than that.

  • "We are open."
  • "We open are."
  • "Are we open?"
  • "Are open we?"
  • "Open, we are."
  • "Open are we."

So 2/3 of these permutations actually make sense.

They all make sense. Ask Yoda.

Yodänger's Supermarket:

open, we are?

open, are we?

open? we are!

open? are we!
