I just look at my own posts and reply every now and again to a bunch of the comments. I started getting overstimulated by amount of notifications and then it snowballed and now like... well fuck

I fear this thing is never going to be cleared. I open it and check Mentions and Messages and that's it. I'm just terrified. I'm 100% going to find something in there like "Message me in 24 hours and I'll give you a $500 gift card for groceries!" and end up throwing myself off a cliff. End up being the $100 worth of BTC wallet that I bought in 2013 and lost all over again...

IMHO Lemmy should be fun, not a responsibility. ITT if it starts to become a burden, you should just relieve yourself of the burden by pressing the mark done button.
But having fun is also important, so I take that back. And you are important to me, Stamets, but you are not Lemmy, and Lemmy is not you.
