I remember seeing that someone designed and was reselling a PCB that fit in a regular ol Casio digital case, and it did a bunch of cool stuff. I cannot find it and was hoping I could get some fellow watch nerds on the case.

Recently picked up a Kinesis Advantage 360 Pro and I love it! I also love bringing my laptop to the coffee shop to do work.

Just got my first ergonomic keyboard! Coming from a Keychron K2 and now using a Kineses Advantage 360 Pro, which I picked up refurbished for a nice discount.

I know there is the Ultimate Gadget Laboratories (ultimate hacker keyboard) but I'm looking fore something more Cornish. And I want premium grade stuff that has a CE stamp. I.e. no low quality 3D-print plastics that will give me a rash or maybe cancer in a couple of years. Something like ZSA or Kinesis.

I took it out of my pocket and tried to turn it on, hmm, twist switch was rather tight. Tightened it down or maybe it was already down. It didn't turn on but I figured I maybe had left it on all night by accident and drained the battery. Started to remove the head and heard a popping sound. Battery (alkaleak but fairly new) had some kind of black stuff on the casing near the negative terminal, no other obvious damage to the light or battery. I put in a new battery => won't turn on. So I guess the circuit is blown.

I'm looking for a new light for EUC riding. I currently have a SP36 which I find too big and heavy and also a thrunite TC15 that lacks throw and uses a micro USB that I dislike. A buddy of mine uses a Fenix TK16 v2 and it seems to be a good balance of flood and throw, but I dislike the buttons. I really like the features of my SP36 and the single button.

Has wurkkos ever released a red aux only version of the ts10? If so please tell me where to send my money

Hey! I'm looking for a headlamp to use on a kayak. Everything you use while paddling eventually gets drenched, so it needs to be waterproof. I paddle on the Baltic Sea so the water is slightly salty, too.

Is the laser on the Wurkkos HD01 safe to use to play with pets? I've got a dog that loves to chase the laser but my Nebo Slim+ 1200 died when it fell off of my backpack strap.

I'm getting into figure building and I was wondering if there is a "clip" style light that I could attach to the arm of my glasses so that I can more directly illuminate my work space?

Sofirn confirmed by email that it is discontinued. No idea about other LT1 series models. A shame. I like the Mini and kind of wanted another one. Oh well.

So people throw out disposable vapes all the time. I cracked one open to take a look and it turns out they have a 18500 battery in it. So I was thinking of 3D printing a spacer to make it the same size as a 18650 and putting some shrink wrap on them. I just wanted to see what people who know more than me think. Is this a bad idea that is going to burn my house down? a waste of time perhaps?

tl;dr: duty lights on the arbitrary list vs the wurkkos "tactical" lol light, what makes the comically less expensive td0x series worse

Thanks to the wonders of UV resin i got a super-cheap UV flashlight for curing it, but the thing didn't last much. I don't do this a lot, only occasionally, so a proper full expensive dedicated curing setup is a waste for me, and a not too expensive flashlight is not a bad idea, but I'd like to have one that won't break down after a bit. Is there such a thing?
