I remember this was a huge phenomenon when it came out and people were recording it on their home VCR's and playing it back frame by blurry frame. News programs reported on it. Serious people discussed the reasons why they thought it was fake, as though it wasn't just grainy footage of a plaster dummy stuffed with spiced meats.

Thinking back of growing up in the 2000's I can't stress how much I miss those times. I'm a guy born in 2003 and it feels like this was the core environment that shaped my identity and this is missing now.

Just ran across this in a drawer. It's probably from a peach pie some people at work gave me back in the 80s, in gratitude for some unauthorized computer work I did for them (at Tektronix LOL). They were using some really crappy software from before my time that was making them hate their jobs, and they couldn't get permission to have it improved. I was so appalled when I saw what they had to deal with, I just did it on the sly. They were so happy with the results the whole crew showed up at my desk with a Plush Pippin pie. Best work award I ever received!
