Collier's is famous for their extensive "Man Will Conquer Space Soon!" series printed from 1952-54, but this is from another article of theirs on a similar topic printed several years before.

There is some episodes of he recording some videos for the crew, but also there is a quote on the episode Macrocosm who talks about loop videos like tiktok ones.

I've gushed before about how much I enjoy the Watch_Dogs games, even though there's very few similarities between Watch_Dogs 1 and 2. Hacking with a cellphone is just a fun game mechanic. Plus, they're making a Watch_Dogs movie which apparently finished filming in September. Of course, we'll see if the movie ever gets a release. Who knows anymore.

I've been keeping my eye on both of these games for awhile but I wasn't sure if either one of them really deserved a post here. But since they both released this week I figure one post for both games is sufficient. I should mention I haven't bought either one yet, I just thought others here might be interested.

I'll admit I'm stealing this question from an r/cyberpunk post but I thought it was an interesting question and wanted to ask it here.

I've decided it's finally time for me to start posting memes to this community. Although my goal is to only post memes that are "about" cyberpunk and not just frames from a cyberpunk movie used to make an unrelated joke.

Post Sputnik in 1957, Goodyear pushed an integrated set of rocket, spaceship, and space station designs, and continued to do so through the early 1960s until it became clear that NASA was going ahead with their own approach.

Famous brands, but dystopian

Long story short, "CHOOH₂" is probably esters of oxalic acid (C₂H₂O₄ a.k.a "CHOO CHOO") as additive to biogasoline derived from GMO crops.

Looks like they were all purchased by a group science fiction fans, so hopefully things turn out well.

The Matrix is one of the most well-known cyberpunk movies; I'm not going to argue its cyberpunk qualities. But 20 years after The Matrix was relevant, we got a cash-grab sequel in Matrix Resurrections.

Hey everyone, I'm a bit nervous about sharing this. I haven't touched any code in over a decade, but recently I decided to give it another go. Back in the early 2000s, I used to experiment with basic websites as a hobby, and now I've built a small database of cyberpunk media, games, and literature from scratch.

I've been posting to this community for over a year and even though I've exhausted every single cyberpunk discussion topic I can think of, this community is still growing! Thanks for coming and hanging out!

Personal essay about overcoming fear and excuses, inspired by The Hobbit.

Very accessible dark cyberpunk music. All the tracks I've heard are instrumental. I'm enjoying it a lot so far.

There isn't much in this article, other than a reminder that Neuromancer is currently filming in Tokyo. Also, I don't think it's been announced what role Emma Laird has so I don't know if it really hurts things for her to not have read the book. We'll see how well this quote ages though:

I've read quite a bit of (what I consider to be) the main classic cyberpunk novels. Stuff like The Sprawl trilogy, Hardwired, Snow Crash. I've also read some proto-cyberpunk novels like The Stars My Destination, The Machine Stops, and various Philip K Dick stories.

Veiled Edge is in early access right now, but there's a demo available and I really enjoyed it so I'm hoping they'll be able to finish the game. The gameplay reminds me a lot of Sanabi but instead of a grappling hook for movement, Veiled Edge uses a teleportation mechanic.
