I'm a pretty experienced chef and worked in kitchens for almost 10 years. I liked to pride myself in making steaks on temp by just touch or even looking at it, depending on the cut of course. But when it comes to things like chicken, absolutely. If I wing it (get it?) I end up overcooking it to "be safe." But with a thermometer you can get it just right without ruining the chicken. I used to hate chicken when I was a kid because my parents always over cooked it to hell and back. Nowadays, now that I know how to cook chicken and use a thermometer, chicken is easily my favorite meat.
I wonder how long they will have their balls before they lose them again.
The real question is are these perverts going to back off from this because they know it will be wildly unpopular nation wide, or will they still be too scared to defy anything that the Project 2025 and Trump want? I'd bet at least 60% of the republicans in congress have a more kinky search history than any of us do.
Borderlands 3 was barely worth $60 and I still waited for it to go on sale.
I guess America doesn't have enough racists so they had to start importing them.
In a world where a lot of triple A games are not even worth $60, I'll wait for the reviews.
Exactly. Those people want to become richer and the regime wants people they can have leverage over so they don't step out of line. The only problem with this strategy is that it's super fragile for both sides which is usually why it fails. Just google the oligarchs that got people like Hitler into power. They always think they are safe because they are loyal but it never lasts. In the end they are all power hungry and want to be the one on top. We can already see the infighting starting with people like Musk.
Welp. Time to remove all my music.
So... Business as usual, I suppose?
You are also partially responsible for not doing a god damn thing to prepare the government or the country for what was coming before you left. You just fucked off since the election and coasted into to the sunset while covering your own ass. I'm not saying he was the worst, but man, he could have done so much fucking better in the end.
If you go look at most places where people regularly use trucks for actual work in the US like construction or agriculture, pretty much the only ones driving the newest and most luxurious new trucks are the bosses while the actual workers use older and more practical vehicles. And a lot of those fancy trucks have so little bed space that I can hold more shit my friends Subaru Outback. And I say give me the tiny truck that can parallel park.
I'm starting to think we live in a Neal Breen movie.
If there's one thing I know about how people feel about their property and places like Louisiana, this can only end badly. I say give it a shot and see what happens.
Ten bucks says he's gonna start trying to rename countries within the next month. Probably starting with Canada, too.
I don't even want Windows 11 specifically because of AI. It's intrusive, unnecessary, and the average person has no use for it. The only time I have used AI for anything productive was when I needed to ask some very obscure questions for Linux since I'm trying to get rid of Windows entirely.
I hate to say it, but I think you are the one being a dick here my guy. I feel like calling people out for being themselves is more of a dick move than someone being themselves and making some people arbitrarily uncomfortable. You'll never be able to make everyone happy and forcing yourself to do so is a recipe for self doubt and an inability to self reflect in a healthy and constructive way. I'd rather be cringe any day of the week.
Gotta somehow make his friends in UAE and Saudi Arabia happy for when he realises the US doesn't have as much oil in the ground as it actually needs or can realistically extract in a meaningful timeframe. I mean, they literally just invested in his crypto scheme the other day.
Can't wait for this to affect things like our infrastructure and medical equipment. There are a lot more things than just dolls that come from China. And all those republicans that are talking about cutting back on their consumerism are going to be pretty shocked when they realize they can't even buy half of their kids school supplies when summer is over.
I'd like to share why things like these piss me off to no end. I need to vent a little so feel free to ignore this as it will be a bit "ranty."
This isn't a story about the DEA but more just cops in general. I live in a super small town where everyone is (generally) super nice and so are the police. I see them at the gas station and community events like Holiday parties and cook outs. I've known these guys since my parents moved here when I was a kid and I grew up with these guys being around and was even their neighbor at one point. Most of them are not bad people...
That being said, I will never trust them again in my entire life. I don't give a shit what kind of law enforcement you are, whether that's a cop, the DEA, or ICE, the fact that the "good ones" are actively watching this happen with basically zero resistance makes me sick. I'm sure they are scared to lose their jobs, themselves, and I'm sure even their families. But at the same time they have no right to feel scared when the people they are meant to "protect and serve" are absolutely terrified. These people aren't just at risk of losing their job or title, they are at risk of getting literally forced out of their home and sent to another country or a foreign prison.
I guess my point here is this: To all the politicians (Republican and Democrat), police officers, government staff, federal agents, judges, and literally everyone else that is in a position of power while just letting this happen, grow a fucking back bone. They're going after us now, but it's only a matter of time before they come for everyone else for the smallest of infractions no matter where they are on the ladder. It's easy to resist now and the longer we wait the harder it will get. We're running out of fucking time and nobody in any position of power seems to give a shit beyond their own skin, even if it's only delaying the inevitable.
I watched the whole interview and holy shit the amount of mindless babbling coming out of Trumps mouth about the basically nothing was ridiculous. This man spent a good 5 - 10 minutes complaining about Obama, Biden, and Newsom and barely even let Carney speak. I'm glad he at least got to mention that "51st state" thing at least and shut that down immediately.
